Luang Prabang, Laos - Polarsteps

Luang Prabang was unexpectedly awesome! After a bit of a strange journey to get there, I arrived just in time for the festival of light! Such a stunning and unique experience! All the surrounding villages had made these beautiful dragon lanterns, which they then parades through the streets of Luang Prabang before eventually setting them off into the Mekong River! Alongside this, lots of little stalls were selling floating flowers which you could light and then let off yourself into the river! It was amazing and the city had the loveliest vibe with children and locals dancing and singing through the streets! Aside from this Luang Prabang was beautiful!!
