Alcobendas, Spain - Polarsteps

First day of trekking started abruptly with a 1000m ascent. Our feet are lazy and unexperienced with the rocky terrain. Refreshing stop at 3200 peak, with cold Coca-Cola served berber style along with Momo's excellent surprise snacks. Descent into an amazing river valley with cultivated green terrasses. Bivouac camp in amazing location, by the river. Freshly swueezed local orange juice and bathing in the river. Lazy afternoon snooze in the sun.
