Geneva, Switzerland - Polarsteps

"I've proven that people aren't trees, so it is false when they speak of roots." - Even Cowgirls Get the Blues The only thing I had planned for Geneva was a boat ride including dinner on the Lake that I had prepaid for through CGN. I don't remember the exact amount but the 3-hour boat ride alone was 45 euros & I'm pretty certain the 4-course pre-fixe menu costs so much more on top of that that my waitress at the end of the meal asked "Is it your birthday?" and I smiled & said, "nope!" #TreatYoSelf. It was a sunset boat ride on Lake Geneva which has Switzerland on one side & France on the other. You could see the mountains all around. It was truly stunning. Sidenote, the waiter that I sneakily took a photograph of was also pretty stunning ;-). Towards the end of the ride, I met an American family & we spent some time talking. I hadn't had much meaniful interaction with other peoplei n a few days so it was pretty nice just to talk about travels. They were from Atlanta. So after a wonderful fancy-ass dinner & about one million selfies, I got back to my room around 10pm.
