Montreux, Switzerland - Polarsteps

Follow by a 3 hour journey to Interlaken. I settled in for this one and got myself snacks from the train car. One thing about solo traveling is you have to have faith, hull your things with you, put trust in a nearby stranger or just sit near/in the cafe car. I met an adorable older British couple on this ride because the woman was having a very hard time getting her iPad to work to take photos. I guided her through the process and the 3 of us spent about an hour talking. She said her kids (who were my age) travel all the time and this was a rare occasion where they were traveling. It was a really lovely afternoon.
