Municipality of Agios Nikolaos, Greece - Polarsteps

That evening we had our epic food tour. I say epic because it lasted 5 hours and was about 105 USD per person and we ate and drank SO MUCH. It was a private tour booked through AirBnB Experiences called Agios Nikolaos Walk, Eat, Drink Twilight. We started off the tour walking a bit around the town, getting to know the neighborhood and some of the traditions. After that we started to eat. We started slow with some tea and a snack but from there it ramped up quickly! We basically ended up eating the equivalent of 2-3 meals by the end of the tour. It was all delicious but it was certainly quite a lot. In total I think we made 3 or 4 different stops for foods & drinks. The final stop was a gorgeous restaurant up at the top of the hill with a spectacular view of the city called Gioma Meze. Our tour guide knew the staff well and they treated us very well throughout the night. We had several dished there. Though the tour was lovely, if I were to do it again, it would have been fine to just book that restaurant and get all of the traditional dishes at once. We did all enjoy ourselves though one of our friends found herself very sick after all that food & alcohol the next morning so probably best to try your best to pace yourself if you book this tour (or skip lunch!)
