Göttingen, Germany - Polarsteps

A short stay, one night stop, in this picturesque little town. The half-timbered medieval houses and dim lighting make you feel as if you were strolling down a fairy tale street. Full of students from the University, young ambience. We arrived around 8pm from Lyon, checked in at Hotel Freizeit In and drove straight to the villa old quarter. Lots of private parking (3 euros almost 3 hours). I recommend the hotel: 4 star hotel near the Autobahn to Hannover, good quality and excellent value: 104 euros for 2-bedded room, really comfy matresses, excellent breakfast. Parking space too. All inclusive. The hotel has an impressive gym and spa area we didn't have time to enjoy though.
