First and last real city in Iran. The city is getting reading for ashura, mourning the martyrdom of Imam hossein.
Did some sightseeing. Visit mausoleum and bazar, very beautiful. Met one other tourist, a polish cyclist with whom we had lunch in a former hamam. By the way, as much as we like Iran, we really don't like the food. Looking forward to Armenia and Georgia for that. And the wine of course 😘
