Khndzoresk, Armenia - Polarsteps

Khndzoresk is an abandoned cave village. Up to the '50s 1800 people use to live here. There were schools, shops and churches and it was one of the biggest village in the region. After we got on the road direction Yerevan we meet a nice young Russian biker from Sochi. He guides us through some backroads to Khor Virap, a monastery located near the closed border with Turkey. This time we do see the mighty mount Ararat. About 10 years ago so we were at the other side and couldn't while it was hidden in the clouds.
