Arrived at a homestay in Gergeti with time enough to walk up to the trinity church on a steep climb. Beautiful views on both the church as to mount Kazbek, with 5.047 meters the third highest mountain in Georgia. Just a few kilometers and we're in Russia again. Making our mind up to keep on follow the USSR trail to the Ukraine or go into Turkey where the weather is milder and the scenery probably more varied.....
