Chiatura, Georgia - Polarsteps
We make a detour back to Tblisi where we'll meet Anne and Reinier who planned a holiday in Georgia and bring us new sprockets. We stop at tha Katschki pillar, a natural limestone monolith, of 40 meters high with a church on top of it and still some monks living. We spent the night in former mining town Chiatura which looks like an abandoned ghost town with people living in it. Actually it's quite nice and lovely. It's famous for its unique Soviet cabletram system which was still running till only the weeks ago. Although we can't take a ride in this metal death coffins anymore it's still special to visit this town.
