Yamba, Australia - Polarsteps
Our first adventure on the greyhound was one heck of a trek. We boarded the bus at 10:15 in Sydney and drove all night until we arrived in Yamba at 9:30 AM. It wasn't the worst but I was SO relieved when we dropped off our bags at the YHA hostel on headed straight to the beach. We got in the ocean for the first time and saw a little crab. After, we met our roommate, a dude named Kim from Finland. Seems like a nice fella. Yamba is a very small fishing town but has become more popular for it's surf spots and pretty beaches. For the lack of vegan food, we grabbed some bread and jam from the grocery store for sandwiches. Now we are catching up on our steps and heading to a cliff jumping spot later! Grabbing the 9:00 AM bus to Byron tomorrow... so stoked for SURF LESSONS!!!!
