Geneva - Chamonix - Passy Pick up the car around 10 am, after having had one of those expensive coffees in Switzerland, it took a bit longer cause they didn’t have our Volkswagen Golf or similar, instead promised us an Audi A4 4x4, and I was quite happy to accept that, after a bit longer they didn’t have that one either, so we got another upgrade, Mercedes CLA 200 4x4, honestly it’s probably the most expensive car I’ve driven, yet the one that consumes more fuel, but it’s a joy to drive. After stopping in multiples shops, and supermarkets, arrive at the apartment, cook lunch and left to pick up the number for my brother, man it’s hot in here, around 28 degrees Celsius, glad they had water from the mountains very fresh. After picking up the number, walk through the shops around the village went back to the apartment, the race starts at 6 am so we have to prepare for tomorrow. I wanted to see the sun fade and once again that mountain glow in Mont Blanc, we found a great viewpoint to enjoy the last 30 minutes of sunset and there I set a time-lapse, for future edit, enjoy quietly those views and headed back to the apartment for a sleep. Let’s get ready for tomorrow, the alarm is set at 4:30h.
