Bealey Hotel - Castle Hill Village - Springfield - Christchurch - Bealey Hotel New Zealand, travel day 128 Here's the story for today. Alarm clock rings at 4:20, I wake up, look out of the window, and it's raining, heavily. Totally frustrated I tell Clara, sunrise mission has to be cancelled, not only the rain but the clouds, we can barely see any mountains around us, then we sleep again. Alarm is set for 7:20 hopping at sunrise things have changed, but no, not at all. We start moving and headed to Castle Hill Village, here we stop for breakfast, and check the weather forecast, sadly we see it's gonna rain all day long, so we have to change plans again. By now New Zealand is the country where we have changed plans more often. We decided to continue driving towards Springfield to see The Simpson donut and after that onto Christchurch, I could have never imagined we would drive here again. But since we can do much in the outdoors we went to an Antarctica exhibition, that was cool, not spectacular but fun enough to spend a couple of hours. Then at sunset we drive back to Bealey Hotel and set the alarm for 5 am.
