Les Houches, France - Polarsteps

Geneva - Les Houches - Chamonix We landed last night in Geneva, after taking an Uber to the wrong place, since my brother had the wrong address, we walked about 45min with all the luggage so we arrived pretty late, 2 am. That made us wake up around 10 am, just in time to get our car and start driving towards the French Alps. The drive is simply amazing, surrounded by mountains, green fields and dream wooden houses soon we arrived at Les Houches for lunch, we are all on budget and what better than a Baguette with cheese to get into the country gastronomy culture. After lunch, we checked in our apartment and then headed to Chamonix. Time to walk around, experience the town vibes of the race, everyone seems to be a runner here, there's brand stands everywhere, people dressed like they have been running all they long and so on. Pretty cool. Our goal was to get the number, so we did, and then back to the apartment, time to relax for tomorrow's marathon. I'm not running though. The view from our apartment is stunning, so I wait until sunset and go out for a walk around, and on the way back capture the moment where the mountains turned orange, my preferred time of all. Not much after, getting to bed to wake up early.
