Great place to walk out and have a view of Key West from the waterside.
The pier is dedicated to Edward B. Knight. He passed away just two months later at the age of 99. It is too much to write down about him, but he did great things for Key West and the USA in general.
The entrance to the pier is the Key West AIDS Memorial. A dedication to more than 1000 Key West residents who died from aids.
