The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is Europe’s largest annual meeting of hot air balloons, attracting over 130 Hot Air Balloons from across the globe. If the weather allows, they do a mass hot air balloon ascent in the morning and one in the evening during this 4 day event. One of the best views is from the Clifton observatory above the suspension bridge. Roz and I had to go here 3 afternoons before we were lucky enough to see the mass ascent due to strong winds the days before. Luckily we kept on trying because the view was amazing!
