Noosa Heads, Australia - Polarsteps

No place to stay! Jamie and I tried to book a room while we were on the Greyhound to Noosa, not realizing that there are only 3 hostels in this small town and that we had to book at least 1,5 to 2 weeks in advance!.... Whoops! We called all the hostels, motels and B&B's but they were all fully booked, so we decided to go to Peterpans Adventure Travel to sort my trip to Fraser Island out first and then look for other options regarding our stay in Noosa. We couldn't find anything, so we were preparing ourself on sleeping at the bus station, when we met a spontaneous girl from a travel agency, asking us where we were staying in Noosa. Jamie and I looked at each other and started laughing, saying that we were basically homeless. She felt sorry for us and called a friend who was the manager of 1 of the hostels. He told us that there were 5 emergency beds available, so we managed to sleep there for 1 night! :) We checked the reception the next morning at 7 AM and managed to get a bed for that day also!! Lucky us!
