Rotorua is a thermal wonderland! These thermal pools are found in and around the city. Throughout the day you'll get whiffs of sulfur! The thermal pools come in all different colors, sizes and temperatures. All our pictures are true to color! There are very few pools that you can swim in, but be careful, there is a local amoeba that can cause encephalitis! Don't put your head under! Rotorua also has beautiful redwoods. Some of the best mountain biking in the world are known to be through theses woods.
