Tres Lagos, Argentina - Polarsteps
Today, we wanted to make it to Tres Lagos. After 10 km, we couldn't resist and stopped for an omelette and fries at a small restaurant in the middle of nowhere. We spent a bit too much time there and watched tourists bus stopping on the way from El Calafate up North and people rushing in and out. We weren't in a rush, however, as we knew we would have a fabulous tailwind in the afternoon. When we reached Tres Lagos, it seemed like a little ghost village - barely any people out in the streets. After a while of searching, we managed to find someone who opened the local campsite for us, so we could get a hot shower before the next rough stage!
