Peñaflor, Chile - Polarsteps

In the morning, we were struggling to find a good coffee! The places marked on Google Maps were either closed or didn't exist anymore. After taking a detour through the town of Melipilla, we were finally lucky and also treated ourselves to cake! On today's ride we enjoyed some brilliant cycling lanes. In the evening, we stopped in a suburb of Santiago at a German, or rather Bavarian, restaurant where we paradoxically had some empanadas. We secretly hoped to pitch up our tent next to the restaurant. When asking for a place to sleep, the owner of the restaurant offered us to come to her house. The family actually had a German background and a beautiful property. We could use their outdoor kitchen and put our tent next to a swimming pool covered by a vineyard!
