Los Andes, Chile - Polarsteps

After a small breakfast, we started climbing (over 1000m) to get to the next big town, Los Andes. On the way, we stopped at a veggie/fruit shop by the side of the road to buy water. The owner gave us bananas and peaches for free to take with us. Passing Los Andes, we started the actual climb up the Andes to get to the Argentinean border. As it would've been to tough to cycle up the entire pass, we stopped right before it. The owner of a restaurant allowed us to pitch up our tents under a roof. We even had a personal guard for the night, the German Shepherd dog Bongo!!!
