Zonda, Argentina - Polarsteps
Today's ride seemed to be determined by external forces again - meaning: the weather! We had a successful start into the day and rode 40 km before lunch time. Then, another nasty headwind kicked in that didn't allow us to make fast progress. Right before heading into the mountains (a climb up to 2,200 meters), we had to stop because there seemingly was another thunderstorm ahead of us which would've made it too dangerous go continue up the mountains. Luckily, with no civilization around, there was a weather station just the moment we needed it. The two guys in charge offered us pasta, water, a room, WiFi and even a shower. They saved our night!
