New York, United States of America - Polarsteps

Today was a quiet day. Wanting to be closer to nature I decided to go to the Tryon Park and Inwood Hill Park. Once the destination was set, friends joined the expedition 😊 Quick ride in the metro let us directly at the entrance of the Tryon park were we walked and discovered the remains of a fort. Following a path, we arrive at the Met Cloisters. This building is part of the MET museum; it houses nearly 5000 pieces of medieval work. From the top of the hill the museum is located, we could see another hill full of trees thus decided to go there and explore. The Inwood Hill Park has many hiking trails going from 1 to 3km long. It felt like a bubble of nature in an ever lasting city.
