Ankershagen, Germany - Polarsteps

Ratet mal, wen ich heute Morgen am Bahnhof abgeholt habe... Ta Taaaa, den Hans. Ihr erinnert Euch vielleicht. Mein Freund Hans aus Berlin, der auch die ersten 7 Tage mit mir gelaufen ist. Nun ist er hier und wir laufen 4 Tage durch die Kernzone des Müritz Nationalparks. Ich freue mich sehr, auch wenn er traurige nachrichten überbringen musste. Sein Ex-Freund Kalle starb an Krebs. Das hat mich wirklich sehr betroffen gemacht. Kommen wir jetzt in dieses Alter und fangen wir an so langsam weg zu sterben? ... Das sind keine schönen Aussichten. Der Nationalpark ist wirklich der Hammer udn wir hatten einen tollen Tag. Abends kamen wir dann in der Nähe von Ankershagen zum Platz "Zur hohlen Eiche". Kaum kamen wir an, schüttete es wie aus Eimern. Zelt aufbauen war nicht, weil die auch kein Platz hatten. aber wenigstens gab es reichlich Bier und Speis. von allem viel zu viel und am Ende lagen wir unter einem Überstand. Wir blieben trocken und das war zunächst mal das Wichtigste. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guess who arrived today? My friend Hans from Berlin, who hiked with me the first 7 days of TREES of MEMORY. He is back, and we were so happy to see each other. We had a lot to tell even sad things. Kalle, his former boyfriend died at cancer just some weeks ago. I heard it some weeks ago, and I was so shocked. Kalle, rest in peace - at least you had a great life and now you found your last place in a Friedwald - a forest where we bury the ashes of the people. ..... One thing I would love to say. Kalle and I had a bit of trouble the last years. I thought since a long time, that this was really dump - but I was hurt a bit. I am very sorry for that. I will always keep you in my mind, as we had great times together. So Hans will stay with me for 4 days, and we will cross together the Müritz National park. And this night we ended up at the Camping site *Zur hohlen Eiche* - a lot to talk, a lot to eat, and a lot to drink and then we spent the night only under a wooden roof, because it was raining like hell and we couldn´t build up the tent. But it was ok, we stayed dry :-)
