I spent the 10 day quarantine in a hotel at a service station next to the highway. Every day (Every single day!!) I got a call from the NHS making sure I follow quarantine rules. And one day a guy even showed up at the hotel making sure that I’m there. Very bizarre!
The PCR tests I took on day 2 and 8 were of course negative so once quarantine was done, I headed north so Sunderland, just next to Newcastle.
