Moa, Cuba - Polarsteps
A hiking day with our guide Indie in the National Park of Alexander Von Humboldt, who visited Cuba in years 1800-1801. He was researching the area and its biodiversity. Area of the Park is around 711km/2 and it’s the most humid area in the country. Which creates great conditions for a diverse wildlife.
This area is known to have more endemic animal and plant species then any other place on the planet. In this is only a reason more, why it is so important. We have seen many birds, lizzards, medicinal plants and the smallest frog in the world - “rannita Iberia”. And I must tell you something - it was terribly humid! But we liked it! 😎🥰🌴🌿🦎
