Fort Stockton, United States - Polarsteps

Today a 170 mile trip to Fort Stockton. 165 miles straight ahead and hardly any traffic on the road! It feels kinda weird. In Fort Stocktonis a small historic centre, with the old Anna. Riggs hotel, which is now a museum, in the centre. It only takes half an hour to get a good impression of the past in this area. FS is also home to Paisano Pete, a giant Roadrunner. In reality, they love to cross the road just before cars are approaching. In many cases it is "meep, meep" for the very last time. Finally arriving at the Comfort Inn, a neat motel on the highway.
