We completed the day by taking a train (thanks China for your amazing public transport) to the near town of Lesha to see the magnificent Big Buddha, which is in fact huge!!
There was lots of people in the steep stairs that lead to the Buddha's toes. They were as big as us!
What surprised us the most was that this amazing monument, built in 900AD has its own drainage system to prevent water damage. Isn't that amazing for that time?
