Tehran, Iran - Polarsteps

The first few days in Iran have been amazing already. Never met friendlier and more curious people. No underlying motive to sell you stuff, just good old fashioned hospitality. The hijab and me are becoming friends. A lady explained to me how to fold it so it stays on your head better. And... The hipsterbun makes your head flatter, so it stays on better. Who would have guessed... As for our sleeping arrangements, you have never experienced a firm mattress until you've been to Iran. Good thing I'm sporting a fuller figure, I can not imagine sleeping on these beds without the extra padding.
