Krong Siem Reap, Cambodia - Polarsteps

On the last day of our temple-tour, Monica -the Chinese girl I had visited the temples with- wanted to go to a lake to see the sunset from a boat. I had already been disappointed by lakes and waterfalls because of the dry season so much, that I did not decide to join her. (It would've also costed me $25 extra). However, we still had two more temples to see and because the driver thought we would take alot of time for these two, we got picked up at 12AM, at the hottest part of the day..) it was killing to climb the temples, but we did it and the view was gorgeous! After only one hour our temple tour had officially come to an end. Our original dayplan was visiting the temples, heading off to the lake where Monica would see the sunset and I would wait for her with the driver. Luckily, because we only spent so little time on the temples today, we went back to the city for lunch and I decided to go back to the hotel. I really loved seeing the temples, but if you're taking a tuc tuc it is easy to see all the tenples that are "really worth it" in only one day. I do not regret doing it, since it was a once in a lifetime experience, but I would recommend everyone just buying a one-day ticket if you're planning on taking a tuc tuc.
