Hotel de Turistas, Peru - Polarsteps

The plan was to get up really early and to have a big part of the Esteves family gathered so we could all drive together for our important trip to Chimbote. The good thing is that we were up early but the bad thing was that it took 4 more hours for everybody to be ready for our trip! When we finally were able to go we were together in the car of Jose Carlos while two other cars were also heading to Chimbote. The trip took us around 10 hours driving up north with views of the ocean from time to time. Getting out of Lima took us 2 hours alone. Our lunch stop was amazing. Great food, very cheap and as always you would ignore the place based on the outside look of it. Cheap is also the best word to describe our hotel for the next two days. It has had better days but it serves it's purpose and it gives the rare opportunity for us to sleep in one bed (let's see who is going to steal the sheets first!) We ended our day with the street food right in front of our hotel.
