Saanich, Canada - Polarsteps

We caught up with friends as we spent the week in Victoria. It is always such an experience to visit places you've lived; Victoria in particular holds such deep, special feelings for me as I lived there for a decade (the majority of my adulthood). It has shaped me greatly. So many spots are so familiar and hold so many memories; like seeing the plum tree I planted in a community garden in 2012 ( it's a biggie now). - Kini Vic friends, it was just the greatest. We forgot to take photos with many of you, but thank you for the dinners and bike rides and beach walks, living room visits, backyard visits, visits with your kiddos, and one celebration of a kiddo-to-come; we love you all so much. Special thanks to Theresa and Adam for giving us a home base to nestle into in Cordova Bay. We got to spend a week with the ocean, pedalling up and down the Lochside Trail and the Galloping Goose past nettles and everything blooming; this city is so good at this time of year. xoxoxo Sara
