Loitoktok, Kenya - Polarsteps

Phwoof, the rest of Kenya post-Kenya Bikepacking Odyssey route. Special extra thanks to: -Peter (first photo) for the hosting and great conversation at Pigeon Park. -Machakos Scouts Camp, and local young'un John who was assigned to us for our evening there (we forgot to take pictures). -The family who let us camp behind their bar when a guesthouse mishap left us in their small village with nowhere else to go for the night. -This crowd of kids who kept me company with the bikes while Kini went veggie stall hopping. -Anto, Benson, and the crew at Kijiji Village & Farm-- these folks are world-changing and in our hearts forever. -Also not pictured, the two Maasai truckers who stopped to excitedly show us a bull elephant grazing in the bushes and gave us a little roadside seminar on elephant safety. Other notes: -We spent at least a week in places that would have been in full view of Mount Kilimanjaro, drank a lot of clean tap water from its snowmelt, climbed the road over its foothills... and never saw it through the clouds. It's fine, it's fine, we're fine. -Yes, that is a no-homo clause on the door in our final guesthouse in Kenya. Just leaving that there.
