Barranquilla, Colombia - Polarsteps
Went for a walk around town. The streets were largely empty, eerily so. Bars few and far between and spread out, blocks apart. It was really strange. Disconcerting even. Then someone explained every one was at home celebrating the night of candles. People light candles for the Virgin Mary. Big holiday apparently. Hoping the city is more animated tomorrow. It’s a holiday tomorrow. At least there were some nice Christmas lights.
