Al Laban, Jordan - Polarsteps

Un site comme on les aime, quasiment dans leur jus d'antan. Le site n'est pas vraiment protégé. Pousse la grille, c'est pas fermé. Tu navigues entre des restes de colonnes au sol. Certaines sont numérotées, un fana de puzzle est passé par là mais la tache devait être trop grande. Un jour un autre fan viendra par ici. Des pierres taillés de différentes formes, vestiges de constructions détruites par les tremblements de terre et le temps. Certains murs portent dans leurs soubassements des morceaux de colonnes, preuve qu'il y a eu une reconstruction après le terrible tremblement de terre du V siècle. Ici un petit joyaux : un temple qui, de par sa conception et ses inscriptions, rappelle fort ceux d'Egypte qui n'est d'ailleurs pas si loin que ça. En tous cas pour nous, une sacrée zone de piknic en compagnie de Olga et Thierry 🤪 2 km d’une piste accessible, un peu caillouteuse. The site is not really protected. Push the gate, it's not closed. You navigate between the remains of columns on the ground. Some are numbered, a puzzle fan has been there but the stain must have been too big. Someday another fan will come through here. Carved stones of different shapes, remains of buildings destroyed by earthquakes and time. Some walls carry pieces of columns in their bases, proof that there was a reconstruction after the terrible earthquake of the 5th century. Here is a little gem: a temple which, by its design and its inscriptions, is very reminiscent of those of Egypt, which is not that far away. In any case for us, a hell of a piknic zone with Olga and Thierry 🤪 2 km of accessible track, a little stony.
