Sympa le col Djebel Hatt à 2000m, il tient toutes ses promesses ! Superbe vue, route asphaltée pour y monter côté sud, les Omanais sympas sortent le piknik pour le coucher du soleil, tout ok. Oui mais... Fuck la plaque de cuisson diesel qui démarre plus, fuck le joint spy d'une moto... Nettoyage et démontage en règle dudit électroménager, reconnaissance avortée d'une piste en moto qui descendait dans la vallée de Little Snake Canyon... grrr... Changement de plan pour les jours à venir, ce sera direction Mascate. Il nous reste une semaine pour changer l'électroménager et refaire un aménagement de placard - le four va y passer aussi, il nous fait de la merdouille - car après le fiston Arthur nous rejoint et nous serons sur les routes. Dans notre malheur, alors que j'avais momentanément abandonné MaLoute en pleine montagne au bord de la piste lors de la reco moto, 3 jeunes en 4x4 s'étaient arrêtés pour lui tenir converse et lui donner ripaille. Bonne aubaine, ils habitent Mascate et ils nous convient à venir chez eux... au frais, le temps de solutionner nos balivernes. Superb views, tarmac road to get there on the south side, friendly Omanis bring out the piknik for sunset, everything's OK... But... Fuck the diesel hob that won't start, fuck the spy seal on a motorbike... Cleaning and dismantling of the aforementioned appliances, failed reconnaissance of a motorbike track leading down into the Little Snake Canyon valley... grrr... Change of plan for the next few days, we'll be heading for Muscat. We've got a week left to change the electrical appliances and redo the cupboard - the oven's going to go, too, it's making a mess of things - because then son Arthur will join us and we'll be on the road. In our misfortune, while I'd momentarily abandoned MaLoute in the middle of the mountains on the edge of the track during the bike recce, 3 young people in 4x4s stopped to talk to him and give him a feast.
