Gulf of Oman, - Polarsteps

Des îles protégées à quelques encablures de Mascate. Un petit paradis de snorkeling et de tortues... Il paraît... car pour nous c'est la police maritime qui nous a stoppé en pleine mer 😳. La veille la réserve avait été fermée mais ce jour là c'était ok. Ben non, à priori une personnalité sur l'île qui a peut-être décidé de rester un peu plus. Grrrr. Dans notre déception, nous avons quand même passé 10 à 15 mn avec un requin baleine. Le plus gros poisson du monde qui nage à la surface, gueule grande ouverte pour aspirer le plancton, pépère, même rythme qu'un marcheur terrestre. Pas du tout apeuré des 2 ou 3 bateaux qui lui tournait autour, tranquille le type. In our disappointment, we still spent 10 to 15 minutes with a whale shark. The biggest fish in the world, swimming at the surface, mouth wide open to suck in plankton, leisurely, at the same pace as a land walker. Not at all frightened of the 2 or 3 boats that were circling him, the guy was just taking it easy. It's a shame the video is more of a minimalist affair 😂 😥
