Tiens un bruit coté échappement ? Ah ben oui y'a quand même un sacré trou dans le silencieux. Mamoumouchkila (pas de problème) un tour dans un garage et Cargol pète moins bruyamment. Bon le nouveau silencieux s'avèrera d'occasion, ayant sans doute une garniture un peu fatiguée vu son ronronnement dans les tours. Ça fait quand même le job et a 44 ans d'âge, le voilà avec un colon plus rutilant 😂. Tiens un Lulu ! Occasion de refaire le plein car chez Lulu, la grande chaîne d'hypermarché du sud-est de la péninsule est bien fournie. Lulu, rien que le nom on adore et en plus bien achalandé, même si en général on préfère les petites supérettes paki que l'on trouve partout ! Tiens un African Eastern ! Mais où sont-ils allés chercher ce nom là pour des boutiques d'alcool ? Faut pas les rater ces magasins, un sur Salalah, un sur Mascate, plus de 1000km entre les deux 😂 ! Le bémol, c'est qu'à Oman, pour acheter de l'alcool il faut une carte qui te donne droit à un quota quotidien et hebdo, et que cette carte est réservée aux non-musulmans omanais ou expats, et merde ! Solution pour les voyageurs alcooliques comme nous ? Interpeller une voiture à l'entrée et lui demander de nous sortir le précieux breuvage... en une heure et deux serviteurs nous ferons le plein, et ce n'est pas LaLoute qui s'en prive. 😂 Repos bien mérité au fond du wadi Ain Garziz, un petit havre de paix, non tari en cette saison et doté d'une belle petite piscine naturelle. Faut pas se priver de ces pépites omanaises, alors plouf plouf et bon moment de détente en compagnie de voyageurs bien sympas, Sabine et Jean-Marie, Christian, merci pour ces bons moments ! Oh yes, there's quite a hole in the silencer. Mamoumouchkila (no problem) a trip to a garage and Cargol farts less noisily. Well, the new silencer turned out to be second-hand, with a slightly tired lining, given its purring in the revs. Still, it does the job and at 44 years old, here it is with a shinier colon 😂. Here's a Lulu! A chance to fill up again, as Lulu, the large hypermarket chain in the south-east of the peninsula, is well stocked. We love the name Lulu, and it's well-stocked too, even though we generally prefer the little paki mini-markets you find everywhere! There's an African Eastern! Where did they get that name for a liquor shop? You can't miss these shops, one in Salalah, one in Muscat, more than 1000km between the two 😂 ! The downside is that in Oman, to buy alcohol you need a card that entitles you to a daily and weekly quota, and this card is reserved for non-Muslim Omanis or expats, so fuck it! Solution for alcoholics like us? Stop a car at the entrance and ask it to bring out the precious beverage... in an hour and two servants we'll have our fill, and LaLoute won't be denied. 😂 A well-deserved rest at the end of the wadi Ain Garziz, a little haven of peace, not dry at this time of year and with a lovely little natural swimming pool. You can't go without one of these Omani nuggets, so splash, splash and enjoy a relaxing moment in the company of some very nice travellers, Sabine and Jean-Marie, Christian, thank you for a great time! There was Cocunut beach in Salalah with its beautiful palm trees for some great postcard-style photos, but as for a little corner of paradise just a stone's throw from Salalah, we didn't hesitate. 😂
