Les costumes traditionnels des Masaïs recommencent à faire surface par ici, nous nous rapprochons de leurs terres. Couleurs garanties et pourtant pas de Bonux Ariël ou OMO micro costaud par ici 😂 Mais si y'a des Masaï sympa avec qui tu peux papoter simplement. Bon quand c'est Cargol qui s'arrête pour donner un coup de soufflette dans leur pneu, ils te demandent pas l'argent cette fois... comme quoi ! Et les bivouacs alors dans ces zones nous direz-vous ? Dans l'ensemble nous évitons les rapports houleux avec les propriétaires masaïs. Coup de bol une fois ou les proprios étaient absents mais sinon nous avons trouvé refuge, soit dans le parc d'un centre religieux (ils ont quand même un peu facturé l'hospitalité du voyageur, et oui l'église est pauvre), soit dans les jardins d'un hôpital. Nous avions d'abord pris ce dernier pour une église de campagne avant de s'apercevoir de son aspect dispensaire, vu que le curé nous a été présenté comme le médecin des lieux 😂 (jeune praticien amoureux de Delphine avec qui nous avons partagé la soirée et le repas dans Cargol) _______________________________________________ Ah, the traditional costumes of the Masai are beginning to appear around here again, as we get closer to their land. Colour is guaranteed, but there's no Ariël Bonux or beefy micro OMO around here 😂 But there are some nice Masai you can chat to. And when it's Cargol stopping to blow out their tyres, they don't ask you for the money this time... just goes to show! What about bivouacs in these areas, you might ask? For the most part, we avoided a stormy relationship with the Masai owners. We were lucky once when the owners weren't there, but otherwise we found shelter, either in the grounds of a religious centre (they did charge a bit for hospitality, and yes, the church is poor), or in the gardens of a hospital. We had initially mistaken the latter for a country church before realising that it was a dispensary, since the priest was introduced to us as the local doctor 😂 (a young practitioner in love with Delphine, with whom we shared the evening and the meal in Cargol).
