Renseignements pris à la gate, le verdict tombe : 230€ pour nous deux incluant la nuit dans un camp de fortune et la balade en bateau pour aller voir des chutes et probablement quelques animaux en bord de rivière (hippo et sans doute croco et éléphants). Et encore le vrai prix aurait dû être de 320€ car il a compté Cargol comme une voiture 4x4. Certains pays plus au sud nous montrerons même mieux, gratuitement ou pour beaucoup moins. Encore un exemple de la seringue à monnaie du gouvernement qui se vide on ne sait où. Demi-tour. Ne pas s'énerver contre cette nature humaine et profiter du présent et des lieux. Et ça tombe bien, le grand Lac Albert nous tend ses eaux, alimenté par le fameux lac Victoria devenant Nil puis Albert et ensuite encore Nil, direction la Méditerranée. Economie locale basée sur l'agriculture et la pêche. Vie difficile pour les pécheurs, tout à la rame malgré le courant, pêche au filet de jour comme de nuit. Nous sommes au bord de ce spectacle, seul sur une grande zone herbeuse au sein d'un lodge, vide de clients humains. Par contre une grande famille de cousins éloignés viennent nous voir (les Vervets ou "Couilles bleues"), observent avec attention nos faits et gestes, espérant bien quand même sans doute avoir un petit bout de quelque chose à chaparder. Ils sont vifs, espiègles, mieux vaut ne rien laisser traîner. Rien à piquer à proximité alors les extérieurs et dessous de Cargol sont inspectés dans ses moindres recoins ! ℹ️ Global village resort (2.45071 31.48198) _______________________________________________ Murchinson Falls National Park had been on our radar for a while. We're on the edge of this show, alone on a large grassy area within a lodge, empty of human guests. On the other hand, a large family of distant cousins come to see us (the Vervets or ‘Blue Balls’), watch our every move carefully, no doubt hoping to have a little piece of something to pilfer. They are lively and mischievous, so it's best not to leave anything lying around. There's nothing to steal nearby, so Cargol's exterior and underside are inspected in every nook and cranny!
