San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina - Polarsteps

Back at camping Petunia. It feels strange to be back in society, where our phones got signal again and the camping got filled up with others instead of us being the only one. From this base camp we do a 'relaxed' hike to Llao Llao. Frank promised a 'walk in the park'. Not telling me that there were 14 km to pass, with quite some slopes. We came back at the camping at 7 instead of the promised 5 o'clock. The day after we did it again! However, this time we conquered a mountain with 1000 climbing meters and stunning 360 views on top! First had to get to the refugio where you registered yourselves in the notebook. They qualified the hike as hard. We thought "How difficult could it be?". It was just 2 km, however both ways took us almost 2 hours each. We had to climb and scramble but got rewarded with views on all our past hikes: the cerro catedral, el Tronador and the beautiful lake's around Llao Llao! On the route back to the camping we wanted to catch a bus, but it drove past us, completely full (just as in the morning btw), time to use our thumb (which works incredibly easy here :D) Before we go back to the hostel in Bariloche we got another day to pass. We had plans to go to the Patagonia brewery, however seeing a completely full bus passing we felt more like staying at the camping with supermarket bought beers and a good book! (Om 1 uur openden wij de domibo, mocht best, want in Nederland was het al wel 5 uur :D)
