Today is the day! We are planning to do some more posts than you will used to. You can read them, you might skip them, but it's especially for us to keep record of everything we went through on this extremely incredible opportunity to go to the 7th continent. 💫 At 11 o'clock while dropping our luggage we already met other (young!) travel companions. We instantly had a nice connection and together we went for a cup of coffee to pass time. ☕ 16.15 is finally the time to board... A catamaran! Since a lot of ships choose this day to be in the harbour, there is no spot on the pier for us 🥲 so we got a little ride to the ship🛶🛳️. After the safety drill🦺 we sailed away and our first wildlife was spotted: "Whales at 11 o'clock" was yelled through the speakers📣. WOW! We didn't expect that moment to be so soon, still in sight of the harbour! For Liselot it were the first whales she ever spotted, whalesome!🐳 During diner we had the best window seats and spotted more wildlife which promises a lot for the rest of our trip!🐧🕊️🦭🐬 (Emoticon translation: pinguïns, albatrosses, seals and dolphins).
