Drake Passage, None - Polarsteps

That amazing moment when you walk out of the sauna to cool down on the upper deck. You talk with some friends but suddenly you totally ignore them, because you spotted something on the horizon... It's white, it's Antarctica! 🏔️ Well that happened to us! In this way our first pictures taken of this travel goal were in our bathrobes :) 👙🩳 An hour later we crossed the Polar circle, which is the latitude from which there is at least one day without darkness (and even more days without darkness closer to the pole) 🇦🇶🎉. Not all expeditions manage to cross the circle, which makes ours even more special! We celebrated it together with a cheers to the Gods of the Seas🧜🤴🏻 (some ceremony of kissing the fish💋🐟). And although the polar circle line was not really clear in this water🙀, we took some pictures with the sign saying "66° 33"🤳 Later that day we boarded for our first Zodiac-cruise! 🚤 We stepped on board super excited to get close to an island full of pinguïns 🐧 and even some Weddell seals! 🦭 -oh the pictures only get better in the next posts! -
