Chiang Mai, Thailand - Polarsteps

Bangkok was hectic. We arrived with the three-day New Year (Songkran) still in full swing; trucks cruise the old place moat splashing everyone with squirt guns and pitchers of cold water. We were stuck in a traffic jam of revelers. We park in our old-school hotel, rich with dark teak and Thai motifs. In the night we head out for one last New Years revelry.
