Mejía, Ecuador - Polarsteps

We drive one hour into the night on mountain dirt roads to reach our Indian lodge Chilcabamba. We shoo cows out of the road so our SUV can pass. We drive near a waterfall but only hear the sound and traverse pools of water. At the end a hot wood fire greets us.
