Lecce, Italy - Polarsteps

A small former Roman mountain village. What we most remember is the amazingly good and simple food in a family restaurant. The old grandmother sat and smiled at customers as they ate. Her husband a poor soul older than me was working hard and sweating under the direction of his boss daughter. He made me feel freer.
