Ulan-Ude, Russia - Polarsteps

Somehow we ended up in this place. We don't remember exactly why we wanted to stop here but we did. The city itself has nothing special to give and we decided to make an adventures trip to an ancient buddhist monastry. One of the only one left after russia has destroyed almost every monastery in the beginning of the 20th century. Despite the hard way to reach the temple, the scenery at the monastery was filled with a mythic atmosphere.
