Datong, China - Polarsteps

We moved a bit to the countryside. Datong is a 4 hour trainride from Bejing. The old city is protected by a huge wall wich is perfectly restaurated. Around the city are more places to explore. The hanging monastery wich was build on verticular rock face or the huge buddhas carved out of stone. My personal highlight was this arch tower on the city wall of Datong. How majestic!
